     Hello, I'm Terra, an experienced and dedicated teacher with a passion for empowering individuals to achieve their educational goals. With more than 20 years of expertise in the field, I have helped countless students, families, and educational institutions navigate the complex landscape of education.

 

     My journey in education began with a solid foundation in music education. I started playing piano when I was five and clarinet in fourth grade. My father was also a band director and my mom an English and science teacher.  I have a master's in music education from Kent State University. This academic background, combined with my extensive experience in both the public school system and homeschooling allows me to offer comprehensive and tailored guidance to meet the unique needs of each client.

 

    As an experienced music teacher, I bring a wealth of skills essential for cultivating musical talent and fostering a love for music in my students. With expertise in teaching music theory, instrument technique, and performance, I am equipped to guide aspiring musicians through their musical journey. My ability to inspire and motivate students, coupled with my strong communication and leadership skills, enables me to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students thrive.

     In my approach to teaching, I believe in tailoring instruction to meet the unique needs and goals of each student. By carefully assessing their strengths, areas for growth, and musical aspirations, I map out personalized learning plans that guide them towards success.
